VINCENT HART

(he/him)

Student Intern; Clayton State University

Vincent Hart is a compassionate and dedicated intern specializing in providing mental health support to individuals who identify with diverse communities. As a polyamorous trans man, furry, and self-proclaimed geek, Vince is dedicated to assisting individuals who may feel marginalized or ostracized due to their romantic and sexual preferences, special interests, or simply because of their unique differences.

Currently pursuing a clinical counseling master’s at Clayton State University, Vince brings prior experience as an Outreach Coordinator, social skills trainer at an LGBTQ shelter, and sex educator. He volunteers at a local convention, fostering mental health awareness.

Vince’s expertise spans furry, LGBTQIA+, consensual non-monogamy (CNM), and geeky communities. He believes therapy empowers self-acceptance despite societal pressures.

In therapy sessions, Vince creates a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, experiences, and identities. He utilizes evidence-based therapeutic approaches combined with a person-centered and affirming approach to help individuals develop self-acceptance, resilience, and the necessary tools to thrive in a world that may not always understand or accept their choices or passions.

Outside work, Vince indulges in anime, Dungeons & Dragons, and board games that ignite his imagination. He also enjoys video games that offer creative and social interaction.

As your therapist, Vince is an empathetic guide who understands your identity and interests. He is committed to supporting you in your journey to self-acceptance, personal growth, and overall well-being.

Vincent’s Intern fee is $75 for a 50-minute session. These fees support Direction, Supervision, and oversight of his work by multiple independently licensed clinicians and Accredited Counseling Supervisors. Sessions with Vincent are not reimbursable through insurance, either in or out-of-network, due to his status as an intern.
