Do you find yourself asking: “Why do I feel so drained”, “Why do I feel like I am giving more to people than they give to me”, “I love this person, can I protect my peace AND keep them in my life”? If so, this workshop is what you have been looking for! Join Tonya, as she teaches learners from all walks of life, a practical yet introspective approach to establishing and honoring your boundaries. Learners will consider what they need to feel whole and fulfilled as an individual and what they are able to offer others. Once identified, these will be the building blocks for establishing boundaries, defining the types of relationships they wish to have in work and pleasure and a tangible roadmap for navigating the journey of self care.
Audience:
This workshop is designed for all individuals exploring their own pleasure and those who support others in exploring their own pleasure.
C ontinuing Education Information
This course will offer 4 AASECT Continuing Education Credits (CKA E). This program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification. Provider # 07-111K (Expires 12/31/2023) 2024-2026 renewal pending. Modern Path is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
Learning Objectives:
Learners will be able to define at least three components involved in establishing personal boundaries
Learners will be able to define at least three areas in their lives where this model can be applied
Learners will be able to define at least three methods for communicating their needs within any relationship
Learners will be able to define at least 5 personal insights related to relationship development and maintenance that align with a values based model
Learners will be able to define at least two indicators to help them determine when a relationship may require renegotiation

Facility is ADA accessible, free parking, gender neutral restrooms, water and tea on site, chairs will be provided that accommodate up to 500 pounds, workshop will be 10 people plus instructor; two 15 minute breaks will be provided in addition to a general encouragement for self care during the workshop
About the facilitator:
Tonya is a woman of diverse skills and talents. She has walked the paths of child, daughter, sister, mother, spouse, partner, business woman, performer, teacher, facilitator, and so many more. She is an Autistic, queer, white woman of the American South who is kinky and consensually non monogamous. She has been active in the pagan, energy work, poly, and kink communities for over 20 years. Tonya has been studying and practicing wellness modalities since early childhood. Her passion for wellness has led her to become an Erotic Embodiment Practitioner, Conscious Erotic Touch Practitioner, Reiki Master, body stress ritual facilitator, consultant, educator, and coach. She is an AASS Certified Sexologist. In Tonya’s words, “As a society, we have been taught to ignore the relationship between our body, mind, and spirit. This denies us the pleasure and peace found when we are fully embodied. It denies us the ability to recognize that we are already whole and divine beings. My goal is to support individuals as they learn to live and love fully.” All of Tonya’s workshops are a safer space for all bodies and identities.
