Explore what brings you pleasure AND learn how to communicate it to someone else! Attendees will explore pleasure with a partner using different forms of touch and sensation to discover what feels good, great, and out of this world. Learners will be guided on how to ask for touch, offer touch, receive touch, say no to touch, and communicate how touch can be enhanced for the pleasure of the recipient. This interactive workshop is designed for individuals of all genders, sexualities, and sexual identities (including those on the ACE spectrum).
Learners will be asked to participate in touch activities with other learners. Prior to registering please review the Modern Path Touch Policy. All questions can be answered prior to registration by emailing education@modernpath.net. By purchasing this workshop you agree that you have read the policy, have had your questions answered if applicable, and agree to the terms within.
Target Audience:
This workshop is designed for all individuals exploring their own pleasure and those who support others in exploring their own pleasure.
Continuing Education Information:
This program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification. Provider # 07-111K (Expires 12/31/2023) 2024-2026 renewal pending. Modern Path is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
Learning Objectives:
Learners will be able to describe the concept of pleasure mapping and how it can be used in personal, educational, and therapeutic settings
Learners will be able to implement at least three tools for self identifying and communicating pleasure to a partner
Accessibility information:
Hosted virtually using Google Meet. Closed Captions available. Those seeking CEs will need to remain on camera to the best of their ability due to AASECT requirements. All others will be invited to remain on camera for facilitator support and awareness of attendee needs. There will be no recording permitted in this workshop. Attendees will need to consult their Google settings to ensure proper name and pronouns are on screen.
About the facilitator:
Tonya is a woman of diverse skills and talents. She has walked the paths of child, daughter, sister, mother, spouse, partner, business woman, performer, teacher, facilitator, and so many more. She is an Autistic, queer, white woman of the American South who is kinky and consensually non monogamous. She has been active in the pagan, energy work, poly, and kink communities for over 20 years. Tonya has been studying and practicing wellness modalities since early childhood. Her passion for wellness has led her to become an Erotic Embodiment Practitioner, Conscious Erotic Touch Practitioner, Reiki Master, body stress ritual facilitator, consultant, educator, and coach. She is currently in the final stages of becoming an AASS Certified Sexologist. In Tonya’s words, “As a society, we have been taught to ignore the relationship between our body, mind, and spirit. This denies us the pleasure and peace found when we are fully embodied. It denies us the ability to recognize that we are already whole and divine beings. My goal is to support individuals as they learn to live and love fully.” All of Tonya’s workshops are a safer space for all bodies and identities.
