Greetings and welcome! I'm Jude, a polyamorous transgender man in long-term recovery from an eating disorder. My focus as a therapist centers on ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and eating disorders/disordered eating, particularly in relation to gender dysphoria and ARFID diagnoses. Drawing from both personal and professional experiences, I bring a unique level of empathy and understanding to therapeutic spaces. I firmly believe that within each of us lies the potential for a fulfilling and meaningful life, even if it's not immediately apparent. Together, we'll uncover the tools you possess and harness them to overcome obstacles and achieve your goals.
In my practice, I blend traditional "talk therapy" (CBT) with elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This approach engages both mind and body, fostering a deeper understanding of self and empowering you to create and share the life you desire. Recognizing that our challenges stem from both internal and external sources, I integrate harm-reduction and systems theories into our sessions, providing a holistic view of your experiences. I specialize in individual therapy for teens and adults navigating gender dysphoria, eating disorders/disordered eating, self-harm, and chronic mental health conditions. Additionally, I enjoy collaborating with consensually non-monogamous, queer or questioning folx, and kink-practicing folk.
I am also trained in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. I have received KAP training that is sensitive to the needs of queer and BIPOC individuals, helping me provide a setting that assists you in forming an intentional mindset during our journeys together. My office is spacious and open, filled with natural light and a comfortable futon where you can ease into the experience. Leading up to your ketamine-assisted psychotherapy journey, we will prepare your intention, learn some DBT skills, and process your goals for our time together. We will meet again within 48 hours to integrate your journey into your goals and life, helping you create a life you absolutely deserve! Ketamine sessions last 2-3 hours, while the integration sessions that follow are 50 minutes. Often, my ketamine sessions are on a biweekly rotation while the integration is weekly. If you are receiving ketamine in a clinic or at home, I do offer the integration sessions as a stand-alone.
My general clientele ranges from individuals aged 13 to 40, encompassing diverse backgrounds, demographics, and life experiences. KAP services are only appropriate for adults with medical support and clearance. Regardless of who you are or where you are on your journey, I am here to support and guide you towards a life of authenticity and fulfillment. Outside of the office, you can catch me hiking, sewing, crafting, gaming, or reading, but most likely snuggled up on the couch with my kitty, Thumper!
Currently, I am accepting individual therapy and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy sessions at this time. My rate for individual sessions is $150 for 50 minutes. My rate for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy sessions is $250 for the 3-hour window and $150 for the 50-minute integration. I have limited slots for those seeking a sliding scale. Feel free to reach out to me to begin your transformative journey. I look forward to collaborating!
