Yasmine Wallace, LMSW

(they/Them)

Virtual and In-Person Clinician

Hi! I’m Yasmine. I work with youth and young adults aged 15-24 navigating life's new challenges, self-discovery, grief, and trauma. I have experience working in residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient care settings. Making me a great choice for young folks who are practicing skills they learned in a higher level of care as they adjust back into everyday life.

I have been formally trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. In session, I adapt them to support the experiences and strengths of Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, LGBTQIA+ people, and people with a variety of neurodivergences.

When we work together, I will invite you to move beyond labels. It is my desire to help you recognize your inner strengths and gifts. My goal is to create a space where you feel witnessed and seen, not "treated". Together, I want to help you build practical coping skills as you build a values and goals-aligned life where you thrive, not survive.

I’m a native Georgian and earned an undergraduate degree in French and Linguistics and a Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia. I value community work, advocacy, and restorative care, and have known from an early age I was destined to be a social worker. I’m passionate about politics and their impact on the individual, critical theories, and helping professions. Relaxation comes to me in the form of music, dancing, deep plot, and complex characters - books, video games, and D&D. I'm the type to overanalyze the "blue curtain" in a setting for its rich meaning in the backdrop of a narrative.

I am looking forward to working with you and your family and seeing how the plot deepens and the characters develop in your story. My session fee is $150 for individual, $175 for family sessions and $65 for 90 minute group (equity pricing may be available).
