Brooke-Lynn MOORE

(SHE/HER)

In Office and Remote Counseling Student Intern

Hi, I’m Brooke-Lynn Moore (she/her). I am a counseling intern from Mercer University with a passion for supporting those navigating grief, disability, chronic illness, and challenging life transitions. My ideal client is over the age of 55, however I am skilled at working with adults of all ages and reserve a select number of opportunities for adolescents 16 and over.

My approach is grounded in a humanistic perspective, guided by the belief that your identity and authentic life story guide our collaborative therapeutic relationship.  I strive to create a warm environment that honors your identity, experience, relationships, challenges, and triumphs.

Outside of my work in therapy, I engage in community gardening and believe we live best alongside our neighbors. I enjoy yoga and rotating various special interests like birding, foraging, and ecology.

Whether you are coping with loss, adjusting to changes in health or independence, reflecting on life, or exploring what lies ahead, I aim to meet you with compassion and curiosity. It would be a privilege to walk alongside you in your journey of healing, growth, and self-exploration.

If you are seeking long-term, process-oriented therapy, the fee is $75 for a 50-minute individual session. If you are seeking short-term, brief, solution-oriented therapy for 8-16 weeks, the fee is on a pay-what-you-can scale, starting at $25.

Brooke-Lynn is under the clinical supervision of Karen Lill, MA LPC, ATR, ACS and the Counseling Program of Mercer University.
