Art Therapist & Therapist

I have been working with individuals, families, and groups for 4 years in various mental health settings and I enjoy working with people who are striving to overcome their obstacles and meet their goals. These are people who are tired of struggling and want to achieve a thriving lifestyle. Not only do I enjoy working with clients who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma and life adjustments; my interests and passions are working with gender and sexual minorities (LGBTGEQ+), survivors of sex-trafficking and sexual assault, the Gaming and Cosplay community, the Drag and Burlesque community,  and working with teens and young adults.

One of the benefits of being both a counselor and an art therapist is being able to tailor the treatment to you. We can work together using creative techniques and art therapy interventions or we can tackle your goals with more traditional therapy techniques. My therapy style is eclectic, which means that I incorporate different theories and interventions in sessions to create an individualized approach for each person. No matter who you are, I listen, I validate, I care, and I want to help you become your very best self.  Come as you are and leave as you want to be.

I have my undergraduate degree in Illustration from SCAD Savannah and I have my master’s degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Edinboro University. I am on the LGBTQ+ Youth Summit planning committee for the Georgia Safe Schools Coalition, a volunteer Psychomancer with Take This, and on the board of the Georgia Art Therapy Association.
